The Blood Bank in Canberra was always full of high-tech gadgetry and since I was there last they've acquired these machines to extract plasma. And the funny machines that used to wobble the bag of blood now give digital readouts.
Homer and I took the office youngster along as a first timer but it became embarrassing for him when the nurses couldn't find any veins in his arm.
It's really sad that Homer is selling up and moving to Canada. There goes my last real friend.
