Really worry about being asked when the last time they saw a doctor was?

If you're hoping to get health insurance, yes. I deliberately haven't seen a doctor in several years, hoping to get past the 'look back' period (varies among companies, at least 2 years) in which an insurance company asks if you've been treated/diagnosed for anything. If you have consulted a doctor in that time the cost of the policy goes up (or they may refuse you entirely depending on why you saw the doctor) and if they refuse you, you then have to admit that you'd been refused when seeking insurance at another company.
