Hospital Visit

In Melbourne to see Dad in hospital. He's had his hip replaced again, apparently a legacy of years of playing football. He doesn't look too bad. I gave him a book to read.

The phone has been ringing constantly with people wanting the latest updates on his condition.

He is in The Avenue Hospital in Windsor, which is conveniently located close to the comic book shops in Chapel Street, which I visited with my nieces.

Because his blood doesn't clot too well, they are giving him several litres of Type A blood. This created a moment of panic from Little Boo, who is Type O. She was convinced that Dad had to be Type O since she was, as her mother and her brother are both Type A. She didn't think that two Type A parents can have a daughter who is Type O. It is possible though!
